Please let us introduce you to Marrone one of our resident Devon Red Steers.

His brothers are Teddie and Russo.

They enjoy being hand fed whatever is seasonal from our garden.

Villetta/Matakana – private courtyard is a perfect spot to enjoy a glass of your choice, and take in the moment to just be.

Our garden is a beautiful place for your pre or post wedding photos, to take a stroll, read a book, chat with friends and family alike.

We are located down a private + quiet driveway, free of traffic + interruption.

Kim’s place is beautifully clean, immaculate ​and set amongst a stunning rural setting. ​Kim is the friendliest host I have ever come ​across and she has thought of everything ​that you’ll need for your stay. The beds, ​including the fold out sofa, are very, very ​comfortable. Kim even did some baking for ​us! You won’t be disappointed, we highly ​recommend. A++

We had the privilege of staying at this exceptional place, and it truly felt like an honor. Nestled in nature, it was the perfect spot for a peaceful escape. Kim greeted us warmly, and it was a pleasure chatting with her. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, offering everything we needed and more. Everything was perfect …

This was our last stop on our tour through New Zealand, and we are so happy that we got to spend four days at the Villetta and surrounding area. The Villetta is perfectly nestled against a hillside and set in a garden of banana trees, olive trees and beautiful flowers. We loved sitting outside on the terrace and listening to the native birds sing. The inside of the Villetta is tastefully arranged and the kitchen is fully stocked. The bed is very comfortable and the linens are so luxurious. The location is close to Matakana where we explored shops and restaurants. On Saturday’s there is a farmers market which is phenomenal! The beach is a 10 minute drive, there are lots of hiking options around the area. Kim and Mr Miko are the most gracious hosts you will ever meet.They made us feel so welcome and we look forward to visiting them again in the future.

We were warmly welcomed and shown around by lovely Kim and the gorgeous Mr Miko. This peaceful country haven, complete with birdsong and rolling vistas, is within easy driving distance to Matakana & multiple beaches – just 6-7 mins to Matakana Village and around 10-12 mins to Omaha Beach. Luxurious beds guarantee a great nights sleep. The hosting was exceptional and we thought overall our experience at Villetta/Matakana was great value for money. We’d definitely stay again.

Stunning place set in the most beautiful garden. The owner – Kim is super lovely and so responsive, we loved playing with Mr Miko as well and had the best stay. We stayed here with my bridal party and on the wedding night and had stunning photos with the surroundings of the house. Had everything we needed.
